This section of the Arts Partner Standards of Practice Guidebook provides an instructional overview for Focus Area 3 of the Organizational Framework: Execute Quality Instruction, as well as a section for each component of this focus area. Each component section includes a high-level overview of the component goal, detailed descriptions of characteristics of practice, ways to improve practice and demonstrate growth in this component, and implications for field trip programs.

This institute presentation deck provides an overview on the impact of childhood trauma and chronic stress. Many of the students we work with have previously experienced, or are currently experiencing, trauma and stress from individual or family-based experiences and/or systemic issues such as poverty and violence in their neighborhoods.
