Join Constellation Resident, Karen Shiffllett of Changing Worlds, for a two-part virtual workshop series and moderated panel discussion with a Chicago Public School teacher, student, and teaching artist who will share their reflections on healing-centered engagement in an arts residency. This workshop is designed for teaching artists to build community, learn about the various ways healing can manifest in an arts residency from the perspectives of a teacher, student, and teaching artist, and share approaches to healing-centered engagement as articulated by Flourish Agenda. The discussion will be framed by Flourish Agenda’s five principles of healing-centered engagement or C-A-R-M-A: Culture, Race and Identity; Agency; Relationships; Meaning; and Aspirations.
