Data Snapshot: Arts Partnerships - Before and After the Pandemic explores the challenges that were faced by arts partners during the COVID-19 pandemic school years. It details what the common characteristics were among arts organizations that had school partners in 2018-19 but no longer in 2020-21, while also exploring such data as whether partners served fewer or more schools, what artistic disciplines they provided, and how we can use this data to build back partnership numbers.

Lookingglass Theatre

Grant Amount: 10,000

Lookingglass Theatre Company provides individualized programs in dramatic arts with a dual focus: expose students to live theater and use theater as a tool to teach the core elements in language arts. Lookingglass Theater will provide instruction to Onahan School students in grades 2, 4, 5 and 6. Based on the language arts curriculum chosen by the classroom teachers and tied into our all school theme of social emotional learning (SEL), students will adapt stories, create original work and learn the actorâ€™s tools. In formal and informal performances, students will present and share what they have learned.
