Ingenuity's Summit Series explores how schools, teachers and community partners come together to identify and fill the most pressing arts needs in each school. Participate in a collaborative workshop that utilizes Ingenuity’s Creative Schools data to explore school needs and arts gaps. Participants will review data in each area of the city as a springboard to strategically plan partnerships that meet school needs.
The Summit Series has four goals to support arts educators’ work in schools:
Audience: Current and potential arts partners, teaching artists, Arts Liaisons, arts teachers, principals and administrators.
GET THE FACTS: In the 2015-16 school year, 59% of reporting CPS elementary schools met the 120 minutes of weekly arts instruction recommendation, up from 47% two years ago.
